It's that time of year again! With the end of the summer comes the return of your festival and event deposits paid for the 2013 season.
We would like to remind all of our staff that as usual event deposits will be returned in October. As the event deposit return process is fairly lengthy, we are unable to provide an exact date in October when your deposit will be returned to you. However, we advise checking your account regularly for your return.

It has come to our attention that some of our event staff are getting a little confused when we have multiple teams at an event; unsure of which info they should be downloading from DCSS PAAM.
To make this clearer we've changed the way we're naming and displaying event info in DCSS PAAM. The team you have been allocated to at the event will now be displayed in large text in a green field at the top of the 'Event Info' page. As part of DC Site Services' on-going efforts to be as environmentally friendly as possible both onsite at events and in the DC office, all payslips will now be sent electronically to our event staff!

As all of our event staff should now be aware, DC Site Services has agreed a smaller contract than originally planned with the 2013 Reading Festival. It is sometimes the nature of live events that plans are changed at short notice; meaning our staff levels need to be increased or reduced at the last minute.
Both the Reading and Leeds Festival are annual music festivals which run simultaneously and DC Site Services has longstanding contracts with both festivals.

DC Site Services will be running a staff shuttle bus service from Castle Cary station to the Glastonbury Festival site for DC Site Services staff on the 24th and 25th June 2013.
The shuttle bus will pick up at Castle Cary station at 11:30, 13:30, 15:30 and 17:30 on both days.
There will be a limited service from the festival site to the station on Monday 1st July after the show.

The DC Site Services' working week starts on a Sunday and finishes on a Saturday.

The 2013 Glastonbury Festival is now just around the corner!
For our festival staff the maximum working dates are 22nd June to 2nd July 2013.

We've noticed that many of you are yet to fully update your DCSS PAAM staff profile.
Please make sure that ALL FIELDS are completed in your profile, including the Your Files section which should include the completed first page of your P46 and your entitlement to work in the UK documents.
Please note that you will also need to bring the ORIGINAL entitlement to work in the UK documents with you to Glastonbury Festival - we will have a safe on-site to store this sensitive information.

The HAZOFF campaign is working to stop the common policy of site vehicles turning their hazard lights on when driving on event sites.
