2013 Glastonbury Festival staff jobs and work information

Glastonbury is fast approaching!

We've now allocated all of our Glastonbury Festival staff into teams and groups - if you login to DCSS PAAM you should see you're in one of the following teams:

  • 8 Day/Night Clickers
  • 5 Day/night Clickers
  • Campervan and Caravan Parking and Stewarding
  • Campsite Towers
  • Chaperones and Crossings
  • Z Zone

All of the details for each of the Glastonbury Festival job roles can now be found in the Event Info section of DCSS PAAM. Here we've provided directions to the festival, arrival information, briefing and shift times, and additional details you will need to work with DC Site Services at Glastonbury!

The finer points of job allocation e.g. specific positions and roles will be dealt with on-site on a first come first served basis - so the earlier you arrive the more likely you are to get the top spots!

One of the most frequently asked questions this year has been regarding shift patterns. Shifts range from 7.5 hours to 12 hours, depending on what team you are assigned to. Staff will be required to work each day of the festival and all shifts will include a break of at least one hour.

We are currently discussing a change in our camping area with Glastonbury Festival, so please keep an eye out for future Glastonbury news items and updated Glastonbury information in the Event Info section of DCSS PAAM.

Unfortunately, cancellations are inevitable. We would like to remind staff of the minimum cancelation period (20 days prior to an event) required to receive your deposit back. The last day to cancel your Glastonbury job without forfeiting your deposit is the 1st June 2013. All deposits are returned in October (applicable to staff attending and staff who cancel). An early deposit return can be requested (for those who decide to cancel). Early returns are processed on a monthly basis and are subject to a £20 admin fee. We encourage you to re-read the Terms and Conditions on our website to make sure you understand our deposit related policies.

If you are travelling by campervan or want to bring a caravan, please contact us. If you're planning on camping please do remember to bring your camping equipment...there is always one! Whilst working with us you are required to camp in the DC Site Services staff compound.

If you have any other queries about Glastonbury, please do contact us.

We look forward to working with you soon!
