2020 Team Leaders!

We’re pleased to once again be recruiting for Team Leaders to join us this festival season! We like to develop our crew internally, promoting organically within the company so we’ve chosen to recruit for this role exclusively through DCSS PAAM. It doesn’t matter if you’ve worked one event or ten with DC, if you feel you have the experience and confidence to be a Team Leader or would like to take on more responsibility this year, then this may be the ideal opportunity for you.

The principle responsibilities of a Team Leader are varied and will be covered in the job specification, however, the primary duties of this role include leading the project by working on your own initiative, ensuring staff are on their position/working on time and co-ordinating staff so breaks are organised effectively.

A full breakdown of all duties and expectations for the role are covered in the job description viewable here. To apply, please email recruitment@dcsiteservices.com with “2020 Team Leader Application” in the subject line with your CV attached and a brief note in the body of the email as to why you would like to be considered.

Applications for Team Leaders will close Friday the 28th February, shortlisting will commence Monday the 2nd March, and successful candidates will be invited to training taking place at our Operations office in Peterborough on the 11th, 12th and 13th of March. This will include first aid training from an outside provider which will equate to accreditation to HSE standards, valid for three years.

If you’d like to apply to be a Team Leader but know that you can’t make the training dates, you are still welcome to apply as we’ll be holding a similar, second training course for Area Leaders on the 27th & 28th of April.

If you don’t feel that a Team Leading role is right for you, but that you’d feel comfortable looking after a smaller team (i.e. looking after a car park or small litter picking team), then keep your eyes peeled for Area Leader recruitment which will be rolled out the second week of April.

Recruiting for a Stores Coordinator (& LGV Driver)!

If you’re looking for something a little more stationary, helping the home team to prepare for the Events & Festivals DC Site Services will be servicing this season rather than working at them, then you may be interested in a new opportunity which has arisen at the Operations Office at Peterborough.

DC is looking for a Stores Coordinator (and LGV Driver). This is a fulltime position working at the Operations office and is an essential role which oversees the day to day running of a busy warehouse and yard. This position includes a lot of manual handling, loading and unpacking of all equipment and stock, and maintenance of all company vehicles. The full job specification is available to read here.

If you feel you meet the requirements of this post ad would like to apply, please email recruitment@dcsiteservices.com with “2020 Stores Coordinator Application” in the subject line, your CV attached and a brief note in the body of the email as to why you would like to be considered.

Applications for Stores Coordinator (& LGV Driver) will close Friday the 21st February. Shortlisting will commence Monday the 24th February with interviews taking place over the following two weeks. The pencilled start date is Monday the 9th March.

If you have any queries regarding these vacancies which are not covered in the job descriptions, then please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
