What you can expect from DC Site Services in 2025…

Posted on Friday, January 17, 2025

With a month to go until the 2025 Event Calendar launches we wanted to touch base with our crew to give you an idea of what you can expect with regards to pay from April onwards.

Sticking with our commitment to paying one rate for all, and at 50p above the national minimum wage, the Crew and Team Leader rates will look like this…

Crew in 2024: £11.94 + £1.44 holiday pay = £13.38 per hour

Crew in 2025: £12.71 + £1.53 holiday pay = £14.24 per hour

Team Leaders in 2024: £12.94 + £1.56 holiday pay = £14.50

Team Leaders in 2025: £13.71 = £1.65 holiday pay = £15.36 per hour

We know the small efforts matter, as such paid briefings and catering/a food provision at camping events are another commitment which will remain the standard for DC Site Services.

The 17th of February is just a stone’s throw away and will be here before we know it, we’re among a handful of contractors who’ll open applications (with the exception of Glastonbury which will open two weeks later) at once on the 17th, giving you the opportunity to plan your entire summer, getting a head start on scheduling transportation and all the logistics which comes with festival life!

As always, if you haven’t logged into your DCSS PAAM profile for a while, give it a crack now and make sure all your details are up to date, ready for the 17th. If you’ve any queries, the office is champing at the bit, ready to help!

I just wanted to send out a big thank you to you and your team for all the work you and the team put into helping make the traffic and transport operation work so well this year.

As it was a pleasure having DC site services as part of our team. I think the GFEL team of contractors is the envy of a lot of events in the way we all support each other and it was noted by some observers that stated the following :-

"simply put, GFEL’s off-site traffic management plan was delivered and managed in a totally consistent and defensible manner that sought to promote good practice, collaboration and road safety to the benefit of all road users."

The DC are big part of that delivery and should take some of the credit for that delivery.
