Following the recent announcement regarding the increase to the UK national minimum wage, we’d like to clarify what it is you can expect from DC Site Services next year when it comes to your pay.
In early 2022, we made the commitment to pay 50p above the then national minimum wage, and we intend to continue to do this in 2023. This means that the new rate for all event crew will be £10.92 per hour plus holiday pay, £1.32, which will be a total of £12.24 an hour.
Despite all the perks that come with working at events and festivals, ultimately we understand that the rate of pay is a deciding factor when it comes to where you decide to set up your tent and dedicate your time during the summer.
