Latitude Festival & St Pauls Carnival!

Posted on Thursday, July 5, 2018

There’s still time to apply to work at Latitude Festival 2018!  Whether you’d like to work the main event, work the pre-show or even volunteer, we can offer you a position at Latitude festival this year.

Pre-show includes dates from 9th>11th July, the main festival dates are 12th>16th July and volunteering dates are the 12th, 13th and 16th July.

If you’re already down for Latitude and you’re looking for something to keep you busy until then, we have St Paul’s Carnival in Bristol from 6th>8th July. There’s no camping at this one so you’d need to either be local or have accommodation close by. This event is celebrating its 50th anniversary after making its debut in 1968 and is known for celebrating the very best in African Caribbean culture. Not to be missed!

As always, if you’d like to discuss any of your applications further then please do not hesitate to get in contact.

I just wanted to send out a big thank you to you and your team for all the work you and the team put into helping make the traffic and transport operation work so well this year.

As it was a pleasure having DC site services as part of our team. I think the GFEL team of contractors is the envy of a lot of events in the way we all support each other and it was noted by some observers that stated the following :-

"simply put, GFEL’s off-site traffic management plan was delivered and managed in a totally consistent and defensible manner that sought to promote good practice, collaboration and road safety to the benefit of all road users."

The DC are big part of that delivery and should take some of the credit for that delivery.
