Team Leader Applications & Welcome to the Team, Charlie!

Posted on Wednesday, February 14, 2018

Please join us in congratulating Charles Reynolds on his recent appointment as Operations Manager! Well done, Charlie.

Charlie first joined the DC family back in 2013 as a crew member. Since then he’s progressed from Team Leader to Project Manager. A lot of hard work and dedication has since driven him into the position of Operations Manager, a post which holds more responsibility and is heavily involved with the office team. A very welcomed addition!

If you would like to follow in Charlie’s footsteps, then keep an eye on your emails as we will soon be recruiting for Team Leaders! All you need to do to apply is email your CV with covering letter with “Event & Festival Team Leader Application” as the subject line.  We’ll be sending out the specification for the role through DCSS PAAM imminently!

I just wanted to send out a big thank you to you and your team for all the work you and the team put into helping make the traffic and transport operation work so well this year.

As it was a pleasure having DC site services as part of our team. I think the GFEL team of contractors is the envy of a lot of events in the way we all support each other and it was noted by some observers that stated the following :-

"simply put, GFEL’s off-site traffic management plan was delivered and managed in a totally consistent and defensible manner that sought to promote good practice, collaboration and road safety to the benefit of all road users."

The DC are big part of that delivery and should take some of the credit for that delivery.
