Oktoberfest 2017

We’ve been keeping busy this month with Oktoberfest! DC is providing event crew for three events taking place every weekend in different locations up and down the country. Our event crew are getting stuck in with site crew work, setting up the event and then keeping it clean throughout.

With lots of different jobs from fencing to décor it is certainly keeping our teams busy, so put on your lederhosen and raise a stein to all the crew working hard this month. Prost!

Now that the summer festival season has come to an end it's time to take stock and review the past six months. A vital part of this is the feedback we receive from all of you who have worked with us this year so far. We’ll soon be sending out our client and staff surveys, so you'll see the staff surveys appearing in your inbox soon.

This will be your chance to tell us about the good, the bad and the fabulous. We want to know what worked well for you this year, what didn't and how you feel about your experience with DC Site Services this summer festival season as a whole.

This year's surveys will also include the added bonus of a prize draw! This could be a voucher for your favourite retailer or even a cash prize, we'll be sending these out by the end of the month so keep your eyes peeled!

I just wanted to send out a big thank you to you and your team for all the work you and the team put into helping make the traffic and transport operation work so well this year.

As it was a pleasure having DC site services as part of our team. I think the GFEL team of contractors is the envy of a lot of events in the way we all support each other and it was noted by some observers that stated the following :-

"simply put, GFEL’s off-site traffic management plan was delivered and managed in a totally consistent and defensible manner that sought to promote good practice, collaboration and road safety to the benefit of all road users."

The DC are big part of that delivery and should take some of the credit for that delivery.
