We’ll be allocating teams soon, have you completed your DC Site Services application?

We’d like to give a shout out to our event crew who worked with us last weekend parking cars in a very muddy field at the Major Series South, thank you and we’ll see you at the next Major Series!

As a quick reminder, if you’ve made your applications in DCSS PAAM but have not yet heard back about a placement, be sure to check your email in case we’ve contacted you about any missing information. We plan to begin allocating people into their teams for the larger upcoming festivals very soon, so this will increase your chances of being assigned.

Finally, we’d also like to acknowledge those who worked at Spartan Race this week after being contacted at very short notice, thank you for making yourself available.

I just wanted to send out a big thank you to you and your team for all the work you and the team put into helping make the traffic and transport operation work so well this year.

As it was a pleasure having DC site services as part of our team. I think the GFEL team of contractors is the envy of a lot of events in the way we all support each other and it was noted by some observers that stated the following :-

"simply put, GFEL’s off-site traffic management plan was delivered and managed in a totally consistent and defensible manner that sought to promote good practice, collaboration and road safety to the benefit of all road users."

The DC are big part of that delivery and should take some of the credit for that delivery.
