DC Site Services event staff after briefing at the 2014 Glastonbury Festival

All at DC Site Services would like to send out a huge THANK YOU to all of our event staff who worked with us at the 2014 Glastonbury Festival!

From the hail and rain to the baking sun Glastonbury very much lived up to its reputation this year! So we hope you're all starting to recover from the work, play, and of course Dolly Parton AKA the best chest in the west!

We introduced a new barcode scanning check-in system for Glastonbury 2014 and would also like to thank all those who remembered to bring along their DCSS PAAM sign-in forms to help speed up the booking-in process. This is something we will be using again at future events.

For those of you with Glastonbury wage and deposit queries:

  • Providing that you've included the necessary information on your DCSS PAAM profile your wage may be with you as soon as Friday 4th July / Monday 7th July.
  • If your profile is missing information (e.g. P46 statements or bank account details) then you will be contacted regarding this and your wage will be included in the next fortnightly pay run.
  • For those with deposit queries; we return deposits at the end of the season unless you request an early return. You can find further details within our Terms and Conditions.

Finally the DC Site Services Glastonbury team would again like to send out their thanks for all of your hard work this year:

"A big shout out and well done to the team at Glastonbury Festival 2014. We hope to see you there again soon.\"

DC Glastonbury Management Team.

"Thank you for all the hard work, I hope you all enjoyed yourselves and look forward to seeing you at future events!\"

I just wanted to send out a big thank you to you and your team for all the work you and the team put into helping make the traffic and transport operation work so well this year.

As it was a pleasure having DC site services as part of our team. I think the GFEL team of contractors is the envy of a lot of events in the way we all support each other and it was noted by some observers that stated the following :-

"simply put, GFEL’s off-site traffic management plan was delivered and managed in a totally consistent and defensible manner that sought to promote good practice, collaboration and road safety to the benefit of all road users."

The DC are big part of that delivery and should take some of the credit for that delivery.
