DC Site Services Christmas Santa holding sign

To all D.C. Site Services Staff,

2013 has been a very busy year!

As well as covering our usual events, Glastonbury, Golf Live, Baishakhi Mela, Royal Welsh Show, Glastonbudget, We are Festival, Taste of London and Christmas, Beatherder, 2000 Trees, Latitude, Lounge on the Farm, Reading and Leeds Festival, Carfest South, Big Feastival, Proms in the Park  and several Firework events, we also sent staff to Ireland for Oxegen 2013 and Electric Picnic. We have added many new smaller events to our lists this year, which we hope will lead to further contracts in 2014.

We would like to thank everybody for their hard work this year and hope to see you all again for more of the same next year!

In the past two years we've introduced the positions of office assistant and payroll administrator, both work hard behind the scenes ensuring everyone knows what they are doing and of course gets paid! We often send out thank you messages to all of our onsite festival and event staff but rarely to our wonderful office team so this year a big thank you goes out to them too!

In 2013 we celebrated the companies 20 year anniversary! This brought together a discounted booking fee, updated and refreshed website, and our new logo and branding. So a special thank you to everyone who has worked with us over the years for your dedication and commitment.

I just wanted to send out a big thank you to you and your team for all the work you and the team put into helping make the traffic and transport operation work so well this year.

As it was a pleasure having DC site services as part of our team. I think the GFEL team of contractors is the envy of a lot of events in the way we all support each other and it was noted by some observers that stated the following :-

"simply put, GFEL’s off-site traffic management plan was delivered and managed in a totally consistent and defensible manner that sought to promote good practice, collaboration and road safety to the benefit of all road users."

The DC are big part of that delivery and should take some of the credit for that delivery.
