Matt Hettle briefing DC Site Services event staff at the 2013 Leeds Festival

DC Site Services would like to send out a big thank you to all of our event staff who have braved the cold weather with us over the winter months. We're already deep into the depths of planning for the summer event and festival season, if you're starting to do the same make sure you have a read of our recent news about the 2014 event and festival season rumours!

We've been receiving a lot of questions about jobs applications for events and festivals in 2014 and it's great to hear so many of you are keen to work with us again in 2014!

We'll be adding the 2014 event and festival job calendar to the DC Site Services website and DCSS PAAM in early March.

Please make sure you check that your DCSS PAAM profile is up to date e.g. contact details, experience and references. There are also a number of new sections being added to the DCSS PAAM application form so even if you're sure your profile is up to date please check your profile before you apply for jobs at 2014 events and festivals.

We would also like to take a moment to remind all of our event staff about internet security. Sensitive details on your profile (such as bank details) are at no point altered or shared by DC Site Services. This information remains confidential, and it is therefore important that you are careful as to who you share your DCSS PAAM login details with. If you are using a public or shared PC or device please make sure that you log out of your profile after you have finished your session.

So brush off those wellies (just in case!) and we look forward to seeing you again in the spring!

I wanted to send a personal message of thanks to you and your team for all their hard work in assisting with the delivery of the broadcast recording at Whitby Abbey.

From my perspective, I tried incredibly hard to impress on everyone involved in the production just how important it was to ‘leave no trace’ and I have been thrilled to hear the feedback that has suggested we were largely successful in that quest.  The way the venue was kept spotless and ‘sanitised’ is a credit to you and your on-site colleagues – so well done.

It was an absolute pleasure to work with DC Site Services again and both Frankie and I look forward to doing so again in the future.
